Problem: #bodiesbyphil is a locally operated gym located in Ottawa, Ontario that was looking to expand its services and offerings in the form of a larger leasehold and additional employees. As the industry is highly competitive, #bodiesbyphil needed to develop a sustainable growth model that would enable the company to excel in the industry. This required the development of investment analysis and a best-case business model for the expansion, to allow the company to secure financing and attract additional clients.

Solution: Nīewe Consulting (formerly Baiame) thoroughly reviewed the company’s current structure, revenue streams and balance sheet and worked with the company’s management to identify the ideal business model, value proposition, investment analysis (including the ideal WACC) and funding options.

Impact: The project resulted in financing from various sources, which enabled #bodiesbyphil to build a new gym space and employ a sustainable growth model.
