Title: Audit of Social Media

Client: Pan-Canadian Not-for-Profit

Problem: Approximately 4 years ago, this not-for-profit recognized that a policy and plan for its social media presence were required.  This was largely in response to several challenges that had been identified, including misalignment with regards to their online presence, and lack of clarity around roles and policy. Four years into the social media strategy, it was identified that an audit of the strategy was required.

Solution: Nīewe Consulting (formerly Baiame) was engaged to conduct an audit of social media, as a means of better-identifying risks and gaining an understanding of the controls in place to mitigate the risks inherent with the organization’s social media strategy; in support of the plan for the development and implementation of its social media presence.

Impact: This audit engagement provided a foundation to address the risks, gaps, challenges and opportunities identified, which will, in turn, enhance brand recognition, credibility, reputation, and enrich their audiences’ experience through the implementation of their social media plan.
